Sundecks and storage rooms
A deck on top for the view, a room at the shore end for the gear. Both built into the boathouse, not bolted on after.
Two of the most visible choices on a Twin Lakes boathouse. The Vincent Circle build has a full sundeck over the slip, with white railings and a spiral stair. The 2026 Joyceville build combines both: a sundeck reached by a straight outside stair, and a sided room under a hip roof. The fall 2025 job shows the inside of a storage room: a white door, siding, and grey composite decking.
What to expect
Sundecks
A flat upper deck over the slip, framed on the upper band and fenced with railings.
Stairs
Straight outside stairs and spiral stairs both appear in finished Twin Lakes work.
Storage rooms
Enclosed, sided rooms with a door, at the shore end of the dock.
Trim out
The last stage in the posts before completion: siding, fascia, railings and stair trim.
